Most youth involved in 4-H say that they are in 4-H to have fun.

I say that we like to have fun and accidentally learn stuff.

Yuma County 4-H is blessed to have so many individuals who are willing to give their time and talents to develop the youth in our county. These volunteers have shown members how to lead a club meeting, to speak in public, to meet new people, overcome fears, or to learn a new project related skill.

This is where you can become part of our organization. The time that 4-H volunteers donate is directly responsible for the growth of youth so they can use these skills for the rest of their lives.

As we begin a new 4-H year, we are looking for chaperones, club leaders, project leaders, award sponsors, and anyone who feels like they have abilities to offer. Please call the Extension Office at 323-4151 if you can fill any of these needs or know of anyone who has time to give to one of the leading youth development organizations in the nation. Thanks in advance for helping to “Make The Best Better!”
