Strollers allowed in 5K race

The organizers of the 5:10 to Yuma Walk/Run announced they will allow people with strollers to participate in the 5K.

There is a little bit of a grass area and a gravel/dirt road stretch but if the strollers can handle those areas, they are welcome.

“We’ve had several people ask if they can bring a stroller and we really want this to be a family event, so we changed the policy to include strollers in the 5K,” states Alice Metzler, Race Director.

Children in strollers will not be charged to walk/run with their participating parent. One person per stroller please!

Because of the terrain in the 10K, strollers will not be allowed.

The 5:10 to Yuma is set for Saturday, June 17. Register at runsignup.com or at participating sponsors.
