Josh Melby, the local officer for the Colorado Division of Recreation and Wildlife has taken some cool pictures recently of wildlife in Yuma County. He came across a Snowy Owl in a field not far from Yuma.

He said Snowy Owls usually make their home in the arctic, but sometimes are pushed south during the winter. He also took photos recently of Greater Prairie
