The Yuma High School football team will have only four home dates during the nine-game regular season in 2017.

The Indians’ open their season September 1 at Class A 8-man power Sedgwick County. The game will be played using the 11-man format. Their first home game will be in Week 3.

Yuma’s Class 1A North Central Conference remains six-teams strong, giving the Tribe five conference games. Three will be on the road and two at home in 2017.

The Indians will be attempting to return to the 1A postseason for the first time since 2013.
