Idalia swept the YWKC League titles at the league meet held Tuesday at Yuma High School.
Idalia’s girls barely edged Lone Star for the championship, scoring 122 points to 120 for the Longhorns. Arickaree/Woodlin scored 26 points, Hi-Plains 23 and Otis 18.
Idalia’s boys also outscored Lone Star with 86 points for first place, followed by the Longhorns with 79, Otis 74, Arickaree/Woodlin 61, Bethune 38 and Hi-Plains 36.

Lone Star report
Lone Star’s track and field athletes found themselves some points in the Wiggins Invitational, last Saturday.
More than 20 schools participated in the meet.
Lone Star’s girls finished ninth in the team standings with 37 points.
Alivia Weathers had another big day. She cleared 8-foot-11 to win the pole vault, ran the 100-meter hurdles in 17.51 seconds for second, and was third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.89 seconds.
Andrea Kuntz was third in the pole vault at 8-5.
The Longhorns earned more points in the relays.
Andrea Kuntz, Idhaly Martinez, Weathers and Aleighcea Kuntz took fifth in the 800 sprint medley with a time of 2:04.3. The 4-by-100 team of Andrea Kuntz, Alison Davis, Aleighcea Kuntz, and Martinez was sixth in 1:00.09.
The Lone Star boys scored nine points to finish 16th.
The 4-by-100 relay team of Dakoda Cox, Abraham Martinez, Wyatt Cochran and Brady Kuntz took fifth in 50.58 seconds.
Ethan Glenn took seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:41.52, and seventh in the 3200 run with a time of 13:27.98.
Otis report
The Otis High School track and field athlete came home from last Saturday’s Wiggins Invitational with some placing efforts, in a field that featured more than 20 schools.
The Otis boys tied for 12th in the team standings with 18 points.
Maddox Hisam cleared 5-foot-6 to place third in the high jump. Peyton Wells was fifth in the discus with a distance of 126-3, and also took fifth in the shot put with a heave of 37-10.25.
The 4-by-800 relay foursome of Brian Coyle, Bohden Klinzmann, Packer Sawyer and Taylor Ringlein took fifth in 11 minutes, 32.53 seconds.
The Otis girls came up with 3.5 points, courtesy of Anthoneya Schaffert clearing 7-foot-5 to tied for fifth in the pole vault.
Arickaree/Woodlin report
The Arickaree/Woodlin boys track and field team scored 18 points to finish tied for 12th, last Saturday at the Wiggins Invitational.
Hayden Page ran the 400-meter dash in 55.02 seconds to place third. Jacob Jefferson added two more third-place efforts, running the 800 in 2:16.62, and the 110-meter hurdles in 17.39 seconds.
Mia Mosso and Julisa Quinteros competed for the A/W girls.
