The Otis High School football team had a fun Homecoming game, last Saturday on a beautiful fall autumn afternoon.
The Bulldogs cruised to an 82-38 victory over winless Kit Carson — normally a 6-man power that is struggling this season.
Otis, 3-4, can pull even on the season when they travel to Hi-Plains (2-3), Friday night. Otis is 0-3 in league play, while Hi-Plains is 0-2.
While Otis racked up a basketball-type score last Saturday, it took a little for the Bulldogs to really get rolling. They led 13-8 after the first quarter, then exploded for 35 points in the second quarter for a 48-22 halftime lead. They added 34 more points in the second half.
