The City of Yuma will continue to keep its buildings and programs closed for the time being, despite Colorado transitioning from Stay-at-Home to Safer-at-Home.
“We will evaluate conditions over the next two weeks as more data becomes available,” City Manager Scott Moore told the Pioneer in an email. “At that time, we will make decisions about opening City of Yuma facilities and programs.”
He stressed that city administration continues to rely on information and guidance from the governor’s office, as well as the Northeast Colorado Health Department, in making these decisions. In regards to the city buildings, including City Hall, the city is taking a “cautionary approach as we move forward in order to protect our staff, and the public, from exposure.”
