Shirley Faye Marshall, Age 83, passed away June 1st, 2020 in St Louis Park MN.
Shirley Faye Rollenhagen was born July 8th, 1936 in Julesburg Colorado to Carl and Ella (Kolterman) Rollenhagen. She completed her elementary education in rural schools south of Julesburg and graduated from Sedgwick County high school in Julesburg with the class of 1954.
Shirley worked at the Sedgewick County hospital prior to her marriage to Orval Marshall on April 20th, 1956. Two children were born to this union, Cynthia Sue and Mark Thomas. The family lived in a number of towns in Colorado because of her husband’s employment. The family moved to Minneapolis Minnesota in 1970 because of a change in her husband’s employment.
Her life was centered around her children and grandchildren and she took great pleasure in family activities. She enjoyed travel, gardening and her flowers.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brother Norvin, sister Caroline and husband Orval. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Stover and husband Lee of Minnetonka, son Mark and wife Linda and 7 grandchildren.
Her ashes will be inurned at the Hillside Cemetery in Julesburg, Colorado.
