An area 17-year-old male and a 49-year-old woman from Benkelman, Nebraska, were both killed in a head-on crash that occurred on Highway 34 about one mile east of Otis, Tuesday, July 14, at about 8:20 p.m.
Both vehicles were occupied by the drivers only.
The teen, who has not been identified by the Colorado State Patrol, was driving a 2007 Infiniti FX35. Shanan Pollmann was the driver of the other vehicle, a 2013 Buick Enclave.
The incident currently is under investigation, and more information will follow later, according to the CSP.
