The CHSAA Board of Directors voted Wednesday night to approve variances from the Governor’s COVID Response Team.
The vote allows schools to play football, along with field hockey and sideline spirit, in the fall if they so choose.

CHSAA then released the details for the return to football this afternoon. Schools have the choice to play in the fall season, or stick with the Season C in March and April. Schools need to make their decision by 8 a.m. Monday.
The first practice for the fall season is September 24, and the first games are set for October 8. CHSAA will do the scheduling for all schools.
