Otis High School’s baseball team will try to snap a two-game losing streak when the Bulldogs host Caliche today, May 20, at 4 p.m.
The Bulldogs were 4-0 before running into a pair of losses late last week.
First up was an 18-10 loss at Stratton/Liberty, last Friday. The Bulldogs fell behind 4-0 in the first and never could get closer than two runs after that. Otis statistics were not available.
Otis then traveled to Merino on Saturday, losing 14-1. Details and statistics were not available.

The Stratton/Liberty baseball team has a busy schedule before it.
The Knighted Eagles were 2-3 heading into this past Tuesday’s game at Springfield. They host Limon today, May 29, play La Veta and Eads on Friday, and are at Caliche on Monday.
Stratton/Liberty went to Burlington last Thursday, suffering a 10-0 loss. The team managed just three hits in the shutout loss, courtesy of Cyler Notter, Ethan Bohnen and Cooper Seamon.
The Knighted Eagles rebounded by picking up a big home win last Friday, handing Otis its first loss with an 18-10 decision. They took a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed.
Camden Bledsoe had three hits, including two doubles, with one RBI and three runs, Brock Mills two hits and two RBI, C. Seaman had a triple, two RBI and three runs, Bohnen a double, one RBI and two runs, Bex Seaman one hit with one RBI and three runs, Dawson Thompson one hit, two RBI and three runs, Charlie Tagtmeyer two runs, Joe Shean one run and Jose Gallardo one run.
