Yuma High School’s baseball team had two players named to the All-Lower Platte Activities Association team by the league’s coaches.
Yahir Trejo — The senior hit .288 with five doubles and drove in 11 runs, and also scoring 18 times. He had a 2-3 pitching record with a 4.54 earned run average in 44-2/3 innings. He struck out 47 and issued 19 walks. Trejo also earned Class 2A All-State honorable mention.
Silas Baucke — The freshman had a strong high school debut. He had a 4-5 pitching record with a 4.17 earned run average in 45-1/3 innings. He struck out 69 and walked 32. He led the team with a .338 batting average with six doubles. He drove in 10 runs, and scored 18 times.
