Yuma High School’s girls wrestlers keep racking up the points.
The Outlaws will try to keep it rolling Saturday at the Chase County Invitational in Imperial, Nebraska.
“Now that everyone is healthy besides Heidi, the girls are improving every week and really looking forward to tough competition,” coach Brandon Newton said. “We know regionals and state is just right around the corner so they are really working, and things are starting to fall in place.”
They finished fourth in the 15-team Lamar Lady Thunder Invitational, last Friday, scoring 132 points. Widefield won the team title with 266, Lamar second with 198, and La Junta third with 133.
