Yuma’s Kenny Rogers gets big role with NCBA

Colorado cattle rancher Kenny Rogers has been elected policy division vice chair of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) at the 2025 Cattle Industry Convention in San Antonio, Texas. NCBA is the oldest and largest national organization representing America’s cattle farmers and ranchers.

“It is an honor to be elected NCBA’s policy division vice chair,” said Rogers. “My family has been in the cattle industry for more than 70 years and I am thrilled to join the leadership of this association to advocate for ranching families and protect this way of life.”

Rogers runs the Wagon Wheel Ranch, which was homesteaded in 1899. Rogers has previously served as president of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, the Colorado Livestock Association, and the Yuma County Cattlemen’s Association. He was also an advisory board member for the Colorado State University Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, a member of the livestock task force for the National Western Stock Show, president of the Yuma County Fair Board, and president of the Colorado Weed Management Association. Rogers currently serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust, as a trustee for the National Western Stock Show, and as an elder for his church.

Since 1898, NCBA has supported America’s cattle producers through advocacy, research, and promotion efforts. As policy division vice chair, Rogers will serve on NCBA’s officer team and help lead the association’s advocacy activities for the next year.
