Yuma High School’s girls golf team is getting plenty busy as it enters the back nine of the regular season.
The Outlaws are at the Sterling Invitational today, April 24, and at the Akron Invitational on Friday, after hosting the Yuma Invitational last Thursday. They have two more tournaments before regional after this week’s action.
Golfers from nine schools converged on Indian Hills Golf Course for the Yuma Invitational, last Thursday. The Outlaws tied Stratton for fourth in the team standings with a 323. Sterling won the tournament title with a 279, followed by Holyoke with 286, and Burlington with 304.
Kena Serl led the way for the Outlaws, finishing eighth with a 101. Aspen Chadwick was 19th with a 110, Avery Langley 20th with a 112, and Madilyn Rahm 30th with a 125.
The JV players golfed an unofficial nine holes.
