The Arickaree/Woodlin football team saw its season come to an end in the first round fo the 6-man playoffs.
The 10th-seed Indian Mustangs traveled to Cheraw last Saturday, suffering a 54-22 loss to the seventh-seed Wolverines.
They trailed 20-6 after the first quarter, and were outscored 34-0 over the next two before putting up 16 points in the fourth.
Arickaree/Woodlin statistics were not available.
Arickaree/Woodlin finished with a 5-5 record. It was the last football game for the sports cooperative as the agreement between the two schools comes to an end after the 2021-22 school year.
Seniors on this year’s team were Samuel Koolstra, Landry Peeples and Connor Jesse. Also on the team were Nic Hermes, Logan Wright, Bryce Shaffer, Jacob Jefferson, Jake King, Hayden Page, Keith Keener, Dillon Noletubby, Estevan Ramirez, Zarron Skubal, Kyle Keener and Aydon Escobedo.
