The YHS alumni baseball event is a go for this weekend at Tribe Field, Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s action will begin at 4 p.m., with players from the 2007 to 2010 teams playing the guys from the 2019 and 2020 teams (the 2020 seniors never got to play their last season).
Organizers said they will see how many other former YHS baseball players show up. If there is enough, there will be a second game with those players.
The fun times will resume again Sunday at 12 noon with the same format.
The grill will be going both days, with free will donations for delicious meals.
There also might be a home run derby at some point.
All funds raised by the event will go to the Yuma Baseball Organization.
Everyone is invited to come on out and have some fun watching the “old guys” play a little baseball on a summer weekend.
