Beverly Arlene Pappenheim (Anderson) was born in Greeley, CO on February 20, 1940. Bev passed peacefully on May 4, 2022 in Yuma, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben & Frances Anderson, brother Don Anderson and husband Rich.
Bev attended Eaton High School where she met and married the love of her life, Richard Pappenheim. Bev attended Colorado State University for 1 year and in 1958 she was the Weld County Fair Queen. In 1959 she and Rich were married and began raising their family in Weld County. In the mid 1960’s Bev and Rich moved to Yuma, CO where she was a homemaker and helped support the family farming activities. Bev worked various jobs over the years and took great pride in being a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren. Bev always had a tremendous garden and enjoyed sharing her bountiful harvest with the community. She and Rich loved to watch and participate in Horse racing with many family trips tied to racing venues.
Bev is survived by her daughter Debra and son-in-law James Stauffer of Phoenix, AZ. Son Alan and daughter-in-law Shelly of Yuma, CO. Grandsons Joel Stauffer and Trey Pappenheim. Granddaughters Michelle Stauffer and Tori Pappenheim. Daughter-in-Law Jennifer Stauffer.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Yuma, Colorado with Pastor Dennis FitzPatrick officiating. Interment followed at the Yuma Cemetery. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
