Daniel Fred Rehor was born on July 2, 1955 to Fred H, Rehor and Betty J. Cardwell in Akron, Colorado. He went to be home with the Lord on November 11, 2021 at his home in Cope, Colorado at the age of 66.
Dan served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany during the seventies.
Dan married Debra Tidwell and to this union one son, Christopher Ryan Rehor was born.
Dan had numerous over the road truck driving jobs for many companies along with being a heavy equipment operator. He traveled many long haul miles, trucking from the east coast to the west coast. He would always bring back many souvenirs for his family and friends while on his numerous road trips.
Dan enjoyed motorcycles at an early age and continued to ride Harley’s throughout his life. He also was a hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Dan was kind hearted and would help anyone that needed help at any time. He never knew a stranger. Dan was a storyteller and had numerous friends. Dan had a fun sense of humor and he would tease his nieces and nephews relentlessly with long tall tales. Dan enjoyed going out to eat with his family and friends.
Dan had a strong faith and was saved and baptized while attending the First Baptist Church in Akron, Colorado.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Fred Rehor; mother, Betty Spencer; step-father, Clifford Spencer; grandparents, Charles and Mildred Cardwell and Edward and Mabel Rehor.
Dan is survived by his son, Christopher Rehor of New Zealand; sisters, Patricia Jones of Aurora, Colorado; Vickie Spelts of Yuma, Colorado and Julie Parsons of Yuma, Colorado along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation – Friday, November 19, 2021 at Baucke Funeral Home. Funeral Service – November 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cope Community Church in Cope, Colorado with Pastor Lee Dotson officiating. Interment followed at the Cope Cemetery. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
