The Wray hospital has been designated as a drive-thru testing site for COVID-19, beginning this week.
There are 50 free tests per week. Once those tests are gone, there will be another 50 tests available the following week. Once tests run out, it will be posted on the Wray hospital’s Facebook page, so it might be a good idea to check the Facebook page before driving to Wray.
The drive-thru testing site at the Wray hospital is open from 8 to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday.
One must be a Yuma County resident, or previous patient of the Yuma or Wray hospitals, and also must be symptomatic to be screened. Symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, new cough, or exposure to a known positive person. A physician’s order is not required.
All positive tests will be reported to the Northeast Colorado Health Department, and care managers will follow up with the person screened.
