It will be a full field of candidates for Yuma County Commissioner in the November mail-in election.
All three unaffiliated candidates successfully gathered enough signatures and turned the petitions into the Yuma County Clerk & Recorder’s Office by the July 27 deadline.
That means Phil Riggleman, Mindy Whomble and Betsy Blecha all will be on the ballot.
Incumbents Dean Wingfield, a Republican, and Robin Wiley, a Republican, along with challengers Dave Blach, a Democrat, and Scott Weaver, a Republican, already had made it onto the ballot by way of county assemblies and primary election.
Therefore, in District 2 the candidates will be Wingfield, Weaver, Whomble and Blecha.
District 3 will be a race between Riley, Blach and Riggleman.
Look for more on the candidates as we get closer to when the ballots will be mailed in October.
