Gail Dawn Robertson Clouse 1955-2025

Gail Dawn Robertson Clouse of Aurora was born on September 19, 1955 in Yuma, Colorado to Eugene and Elaine (Twedell) Robertson. She passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 69, at UC Health in Denver, Colorado.

Gail attended the Yuma schools and graduated with the Class of 1974.

Gail met David Clouse in the early 90’s while he was working in the Oil Fields in Wray, Colorado they were married on June 10, 1997. Gail was raised in Yuma and David in Wray. Gail and David walked hand in hand throughout their marriage.

Gail loved to rescue dogs . Gail and David adopted a little dog several years ago and they were advised that he probably wouldn’t live a year. But with Gail’s love and attention he lived for another five years.

Gail had various different employments during her working years. They included a self employed cleaning service; Packless Industries in Texas; Ceil Clean in Denver; Heritage Christian Center; she ran Dennis Leonard ministries where she met Arthur Blessett and was his personal secretary after leaving Heritage.

Gail’s faith was ground in Jesus Christ. Her favorite bible passage was John 14:1-3 which reads: Let not your heart be troubled believe in God, believe also in me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am you will also be.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Elaine Robertson and her in-law’s Bob and Patty Clouse.

Gail is survived by her husband, David Clouse of Aurora, Colorado and her beloved dog, Pixie; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Jamie Robertson of Otis, Colorado along with other relatives and friends.

There was a memorial service on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Otis Baptist Church with Paul Livingston officiating. There will be a private inurnment at the Yuma Cemetery at a later date.
