The Shopko in Yuma will be closing in a few months.

The Yuma location is listed for Phase 5 of Shopko’s liquidation of 70 percent of its stores. The projected closure of the Yuma location is May 5, 2019.

Shopko opened in Yuma a few years ago after ALCO went bankrupt and closed all of its stores. It was a welcome addition to the community, but the Shopko corporation has entered financial restructuring under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.
