Roger Lee White was born May 28, 1954 in Corona, California to Dorothy Mae Brown and Rodney R. White. He peacefully passed away at home January 2, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Roger lived most of his life in the Laird and Wray communities except a short period of time in Arizona and Minnesota. He graduated CSU 1972 with a bachelors degree in Ag – Education. Roger had several jobs over the years. Roger worked for Twiss and Wilson, learned the trade and later started White Well Service January 1995, then he went to Deterding Trucking and his final job was moving rigs for Excell Services. He enjoyed the challenges of his jobs and met each day with his good work ethic.
Roger was a quiet person who had a way with animals and as a young man enjoyed showing his horse. Roger also had a love of reading and enjoyed local history, long scenic trips on his motorcycle practicing his photography of which he has many beautiful pictures of and the hobby of genealogy. Roger was a kind and loving husband. Simply put a special person. Roger, you will be greatly missed, but not forgotten as you live on in our hearts.
Roger leaves behind wife, Rhonda; father, Rodney White; two brothers, Tim (Gayle) and Kevin (Barb) of Wray, Colorado and one sister, Marla (Doug) Schafer of Kirk, Colorado; a host of nieces and nephews and some really good friends. Roger’s mother, Dorothy proceeded him in death. Roger, not ever wanting to be the center of attention requested a family memorial services and cremation.
