Summer sports camps
Yuma Basketball camp
Yuma High School basketball coach Dave Sheffield will have a skills camp for youth entering grades 2-9, boys and girls, on June 3-5 at Yuma Middle School.
Those entering grades 6-9 will be from 8 a.m. to 12 noon each day, while grades 2-5 will have camp from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Each camper that registers by May 24 is guaranteed a camp T-shirt. The cost is $35. If there is more than one camper from a family, the subsequent campers will cost $30 each.

Girls camp with college coach
Yuma High School girls basketball coach Bob Rahm will be welcome Black Hills State University coach Mark Nore to town for a camp on June 18-19.
Grades 5-8 will go from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. both days, and grades 9-12 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The camp will focus on skills development. Camp cost is $50. For more information, please contact Rahm at 970-630-3396.
Youth golf camp and YHS fundraiser
The 2019 Indian Hills Junior Golf Camp will be June 10-14.
It is for boys and girls ges 5-14. Campers will learn golf fundamentals.
Ages 5-9 will go from 8 to 9:30 a.m., and ages 10-14 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The camp fee is $25, and includes a camp shirt, as well as lunch after the tournament on June 14.

There also will be YHS Golf Fundraiser at Indian Hills on June 1. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8. A live auction will begin immediately after the tournament. Contact Weathers to pre-register or to donate auction items.
