Teresa Ann (Frink) Vick was born in Manhattan, Kansas on September 16, 1963 to Harold Cleland Frink Jr. and Catherine Francis (Curry) Frink. Teresa passed away on March 30, 2022 in her home.
She attended Catholic school in Kearney, Nebraska until 1974, when her mother died from cancer. The family then moved to Colorado. She graduated from Akron High School in 1982 and shortly after welcomed her first child, Matthew in 1983. Teresa welcomed daughters Amanda (Mandy) in 1985 and Julie in 1988.
In 1991, Teresa married Glen Vick and together they raised her three children. They met in high school and went their separate ways, but found each other again and fell in love. They moved to Overton, Nebraska but a few years later, in 1995, decided it was time to move back home to Colorado.
Teresa was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was very supportive of Matt, Mandy and Julie’s extracurricular activities, cheering in the stands at each and every event. She had various jobs throughout her life, including waitressing, bartending, child care and housekeeping. If you asked her, the most important job she had was being a grandma. You would always find her at baseball games, wrestling tournaments, dance recitals and concerts. She was her happiest when she was around her family. Her grandchildren were the center of her life and she adored each and every one of them.
Teresa loved to give gifts. She had something for the grandkids every time she saw them and you can bet she probably found it at the dollar store. She was always so proud when she would find a good deal and would say “Isn’t that cool, it was only a dollar.”
Her hobbies included gambling, road trips and camping with her family at the lake. She loved catching up with friends and family and was never too busy for a visit.
Teresa is survived by her three children, Matt (Rochelle) Frink of Greeley, Colorado, Mandy Goble of Otis, Colorado and Julie (Sam) Slusser of Akron, Colorado, grandchildren Tayshaun, Jaken, Coen, Remi and Leni, Glen Vick of Otis, Colorado, siblings MaryBeth Reehl, Marsha Hemmingsen, Doug (Merna) Frink, David Frink, Jeremy (Jessica) Frink, Jeffrey (Laura) Frink, cousin Bobbi (Brian) Christensen, step-sister Wendy (Mark) Ripp, step-brother Jerred (Ashly) Hurley, aunt Cheryl Severin, Barb Trout, many nieces and nephews and her dog, Oreo.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Frink Jr. and Catherine Frink, her grandparents Harold Frink Sr. and Genevieve Frink, WR and Lela Curry and her aunt and uncle Bob and Wilma McHugh.
