Vergenia “Jeannie” Taylor was born on January 27, 1949 to Paul Milton Sullivan and Iva (Packer) Sullivan in Denver, Colorado. Jeannie was born the second child to this union with two siblings yet to come.
Jeannie enjoyed art from drawing to painting pictures along with making jewelry. She was a hard worker. Jeannie never met a stranger for she was a friend to all. The later years were hard on Jeannie but she was fighter going about doing all she wanted to do.
Jeannie gained her wings on June 19, 2022, at the age of 73. She resided at the Washington County Nursing Home in Akron, Colorado. She will be missed by many and never forgotten by the ones who knew and loved her for she was a one of a kind. Rest in peace dear lady for you are in the arms of the Lord forever more.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Iva Sullivan; her older brother, Paul William Sullivan; grandparents, Lillie and Albert Packer.
Jeannie is survived by her sister, Cindy Matlick and brother, Robert Sullivan both from Yuma; two granddaughters, Nichole Anderson and Katrina McGinnis of Phoenix, Arizona; one great grandchild, Calliie Anderson along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service was held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Baucke Funeral Chapel in Yuma, Colorado. There will be a private family inurnment in the Kirk Cemetery in Kirk, Colorado. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service.
