Government and health leaders from Yuma and Washington counties are coming together for a virtual town hall meeting, on Wednesday, August 12.
It will provide community members an opportunity ask questions and get answers from a wide variety of sources. The town hall meeting has been organized by Vickie Gillette of Yuma District Hospital & Clinics and Candy Gilliland with the City of Yuma.
It will be an open forum with citizens able to ask about anything they are curious about.
Participating will be leaders from Yuma District Hospital, Wray District Hospital, Yuma School District, Wray School District, Northeastern Junior College, Washington County government, Liberty School District, Idalia School District, Lone Star School District, Otis School District, Yuma County Emergency Manager, the City of Yuma’s city manager and mayor, the Yuma Police Department, and Northeast Colorado Health Department.
There are two options to ask questions. One can submit questions in advance by going to surveymonkey.com/r/NQWT6JJ, or there will be an opportunity for questions during the last portion of the virtual meeting.
To register and join the meeting, there will be a Zoom webinar link available at the City of Yuma website. The Zoom meeting passcode is 205086. One also has the option of calling in and listening to the meeting by dialing +1 253 215 8782, and the ID is 940 0915 0065.
It is recommended one still register in advance.
