Volleyball makes home debut Sept. 2

The Yuma High School volleyball team will remain a work in progress throughout the 2022 season.
“That’s all I ask, we keep getting better,” coach Jamie Robinson said. “We just have to keep growing and learning. Take baby steps and be ready by the end of October.”

At least the Yuma Volleyball Team finally will get to do some of that learning in the friendly confines of The Pit.
The volleyball players make their home debut on Friday when Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, comes to town, followed by a visit from Chase County, Nebraska, on Tuesday.
Robinson said she did not know much about the upcoming opponents.
“Right now we just need to focus on us,” she said. “I think we have enough to worry about in improving ourselves. My priority needs to be on what my team is doing.”
