It appears as if Yuma School District-1’s at least is holding steady as can be, according to early enrollment figures.
The preliminary numbers show 876 students in Pre-K through 12th grade, which is exactly same number Yuma-1’s final enrollment for the 2021-22 school year. Last year’s early count was 874, and the early count in 2020 was 899.
Early enrollment figures are tricky in that it changes frequently until the official count is completed later in the fall for state funding purposes. However, it still indicates which way it is heading, and it appears Yuma-1 is continuing its trend of staying steady.
This year’s early enrollment count for K-12 is 814, compared to 810 in 2021, 846 in 2020, 828 in 2019, 786 in 2018, 780 in 2017 and 775 in 2016.
