The Yuma Chamber of Commerce is hosting a 2023 Business of the Year mixer on Thursday, February 16, at The Orphanage in downtown Yuma, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Nominations and voting for a variety of awards will be done during the event.
Among the honors are Small Business/Non-Profit Organization of the Year, Large Business/Ag Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, and Community Person of the Year.
Criteria to be eligible includes:
• Be an active member in good standing;
• Demonstrate community involvement through use of personnel, financial resources, and event participation;
• Innovation and creativity of service, products and management, and;
• Good image.
Chamber members wishing to attend are asked to RSVP by Monday, February 13, on the Chamber’s Facebook or Instagram pages. The cost is $10 per person.
There will be a variety of finger foods served, including Charcuterie boards, Spanish tapas, croquettes, bruschettas and a variety of meats and cheeses. There also will be refreshments.
