The Yuma County Government announced late Wednesday afternoon that all county facilities would be closed to the public effect Thursday, March 19.

YUMA COUNTY OPERATIONS DURING COVID-19
Dateline: WRAY, CO, March, 2020 — The Yuma County Commissioners have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and, at this time, have determined that it is in the best interest of our employees and our community to close Yuma County facilities to the public except by appointment. Effective March 19, 2020 and until further notice, constituents needing to conduct County business are encouraged to call the respective office and schedule an appointment to be seen. All non-essential business will be postponed and any business that may be done electronically or via telephone will be completed as such. The Yuma County Road & Bridge office and shops will be closed to the public. The Yuma County Landfill will remain operational, however we ask that you limit interpersonal interactions with Landfill staff.
We also encourage you to utilize our website at www.yumacounty.net to complete various transactions that may be completed online such as property tax payments, scheduling of various events, searching recorded documents, and to find information on driver’s license, voter registration, and other services that may also be completed online.
